Please tell me when we arrive in Japanese
着いたら教えてください
In kana only: ついたらおしえてください
tsuitara oshiete kudasai
What it literally says
when (we) arrive, please tell (me)
Japanese politeness is mostly built out of phrases that stopped being literal a long time ago. Knowing what is underneath is the difference between repeating a sound and knowing what you said.
When to use it
Works on buses too, and people will genuinely remember.
